All HR Solutions workshops are facilitated by experienced trainers. The flagship workshops combine current theory with practical insights. Our objective in every workshop is to improve leadership skills and knowledge. The self-directed learning approach anchors to proven behaviour modification techniques. Group exercises and role play activity create an interactive and dynamic learning environment.

The Emerging Leaders Workshop
The Emerging Leaders Workshop is designed for employees in your organization who are currently in a leadership role, have been recently promoted to a leadership role, or have been targeted for future advancement. This significant workshop has been specifically designed to meet the needs of emerging leaders as expressed by our client companies. It has been developed with the belief that the choices new managers make define the leaders they become. Emerging Leaders Workshop includes:

The workshop can be delivered in an open community format that allows non-competing companies’ leaders to learn together and create relationships across industries or in-house within an organization. Each topic will be delivered in two-hour sessions, once every two weeks, over a 16-week period.
High Performance Leadership
High Performance Leadership builds on the outcomes of the Emerging Leaders Workshop. It recognizes how leadership development evolves as the leader evolves and progresses. Needs and desired outcomes change and the challenges intensify. This workshop accelerates the development of leaders to understand these challenges and the skills to overcome them. High Performance Workshop topics address:

The workshop can be delivered in an open community format or in-house within an organization. Each session will emphasize exercises, simulations, role playing and experiential learning. Participants will be immersed in rich content that grow their skills and knowledge. The course is 16 hours in total with content delivered in flexible formats, depending on client preference.
Coaching for Success
Coaching for Success examines the importance of coaching for improved performance. All leaders must develop their employees and effective coaching is a key tool to accomplish this essential task. This workshop covers all aspects of coaching, utilizing our firms many years of executive and leadership coaching knowledge. The main topics in this workshop include:

The workshop is delivered in an open community format or in-house within an organization. Sessions will emphasize group work and role play activities. Trained facilitators will model appropriate coaching techniques. Sessions can be either four hours or two hours, depending on client preference. The course is twelve hours in total.
The Productive Leader
The Productive Leader is a workshop that thoroughly examines the importance of managing your time productively. Our time has incredible value and leaders must learn how to make the most of it. All matters of time management will be taught and developed in this important workshop. Topics of emphasis will be:

- How to Set Goals
- What Are Your Highest Payoff Activities
- Tracking and Monitoring Team Activities

The workshop is delivered in an open community format or in-house within an organization. Each topic is delivered in two hour sessions, emphasizing review of pre and post session activity. Participants will be asked to do between session assignments. The course is twelve hours in total.
There are times when new, emerging leaders and managers need basic training on important leadership topics and there are times when experienced leaders and managers just need to be refreshed on the theory and best practices of leading. HR Solutions customized workshops are designed to meet the needs in both of these situations.
The workshop topics and content have been developed from the knowledge gained in our 30+ years of experience and expertise in training future leaders. HR Solutions personnel are capable of presenting this content in a dynamic and interesting manner. Each session can be designed as a 4 hour or 2 hour event or they can be grouped together in any configuration necessary to meet your specific training objective and budget.
Working Style Assessments
Every individual has a working style unique to them. Every team is made up of individuals whose working style may be different than there team members. How the team leader understands and encourages team members to work together is contingent on assessing those working styles and how they fit together. The outcome of this workshop is a greater understanding of each individuals working style and how they fit together to accomplish the team’s shared result.
You can’t do it alone. You need others to help meet your goals and you need to develop others by assigning appropriate tasks. Coaching for improved performance is part of the delegation process. This workshop focuses on the do’s and don’ts of delegation.
Some conflict is good. It sharpens your perspective and can enable personal growth. When conflict turns into confrontation, with no progress being made, then that situation must be resolved. Participants in this workshop will learn how to resolve conflict while protecting healthy relationships.
You must have a plan to get where you want to go. Setting goals and working towards them is a foundation to success. Setting, tracking and reaching goals are both a mindset and a process. The training in this session focuses on how to establish and achieve high payoff activities.
Building effective teams is both hiring the right person and making sure they are doing what they do best. It is about understanding each teammate’s strengths and how it fits within the group. At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will better understand how the best teams function and operate.
Running Effective Meetings
The best meetings are the ones where things get done. Conducting a meeting is a function of planning and process. Pre-meeting agendas, published objectives, meeting time keepers are just a few of the techniques that people who run effective meetings deploy. This workshop will focus on how to deliver the most effective meeting possible.

Your success starts with hiring the best and brightest partners and colleagues. Hire the wrong people and your life is miserable. Hire the correct people and you are on your way to success. Process, combined with instinct helps you make the best decision on the most important element of business success. This workshop’s content is pulled from the many years of experience at HR Solutions on how to hire the best possible person for the job.
Driving Accountability Through the Organization
The best leaders insist on accountability in their organizations. Expectations are understood, challenges are met, success is rewarded and people are engaged fully in delivering results. This training will address the steps needed to encourage accountable behaviour and avoid a victimization cycle that keeps employees from delivering the desired result.
